![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() To think I initially went to look at mods last week to find a meme-y fishing mod following the weird Anniversary Edition announcement, but was instead met with this mod on the front page and I spent 2 nights installing a fresh round of mods. It adds a Zelda-style lock-on, free movement a la 3rd person action games, predictive and even homing projectile (for accessibility/difficulty modification) aim assist, and a handful of other tweaks. I've never been able to escape 1st person except to look at my gear or get a screenshot, but this mod (and the rabbit hole of other supplementary mods) changes that and it's the most refreshing modded Skyrim play I've had in a decade. VioLens allows you to make whatever you wish of finishing moves to be. Now your companions should always execute a kill move on an enemy whenever the enemy's health is low enough. Just use the Dance of Death power, then set the kill move chance to 100 and that should do it. I mean, there’s really nothing that sucks about seeing some quality slow-mo finishing move done in that annoying creature that was giving us a hard time. This mod has everything to do with kill moves and the such, and setting that up would be easy. I'm coming up for air from a recent reinstall of Skyrim to share this amazing breakthrough in the mod community! 3rd person play and combat is actually viable and, arguably, playable now. We can all agree that kill moves are some of the best things in Skyrim combat. ![]()
